Establishment of Linnenweverij Van Dijk (parent company of Kendix)
1958
Establishment of Kendix International Textiles, manufacturer of exclusive curtain fabrics
1960 - 1963
Establishment of Kendix sales offices in Brussels, Aachen and Zurich
1963-1970
Opening of Kendix showrooms in Paris, London and Dornbirn
1972
Formation of Eurodomus; Kendix becomes part of this holding company, comprising several Van Dijk companies (De Riethof, Dieckhaus, and Van Dissel / Kodijko)
1981
Joint venture entered into with Gamma Holding, co-owner of Kendix
1989
Takeover of family business by Gamma Holding
2000
Management buyout. Kendix continues as an independent enterprise
2002
Kendix decides to outsource weaving production, currently in Waalre
2005
Kendix becomes part of Hunter Douglas Europe
